Underrunner Disc Sheller

Underrunner Disc Sheller

Hulling of grain and pulses

Underrunner disc shellers are used for mechanical hulling of grain products, ancient grains and pulses. They are suitable for products such as spelt, soybeans, peas, lentils, lupins, buckwheat, millet and similar products.

Hulling via adjustable stone gap

The product is fed evenly into the hulling area and processed between two hulling stones. The distance between the stones can be adjusted via a handwheel on the machine frame.

This allows the hulling intensity to be adapted to the product and raw material quality. Husks, hulls or outer layers can be removed reliably from the kernel.

Two outlets arranged opposite each other ensure fast discharge of the hulled product mixture from the machine. This reduces retention time in the hulling chamber and supports gentle handling of the hulled kernels.

Robust design for industrial use

The machine is equipped with two hulling stones in a robust cast-iron hulling bed. The stone linings are made of a low-wear corundum-emery mixture and are designed for mechanical processing of demanding products.

Capacity is continuously regulated via a variably adjustable inlet pipe. This allows the product feed to be adapted to raw material and process target.
