Hulling of grain, pulses and other food raw materials
Impact dehullers
are used for mechanical hulling of grain and other food raw materials where the husk or shell is firmly attached to the kernel. Typical applications include oats, spelt, sunflower kernels and similar products. The objective is a high hulling degree with the lowest possible degree of broken kernels. This makes the machine particularly suitable for whole-grain processing, hulling mills and food production.
Underrunner disc shellers
are used for mechanical hulling of grain products, ancient grains and pulses. They are suitable for products such as spelt, soybeans, peas, lentils, lupins, buckwheat, millet and similar raw materials. Hulling is carried out between two hulling stones, where the product is processed in a controlled manner. This allows husks, hulls or outer layers to be removed from the kernel.
