Universal brushing machines type RBM
The machines can be adapted to the product, target quality and process requirements. They are suitable for brushing, de-awning, de-husking and polishing as well as for special applications such as leaf-stem separation in herb processing. This makes them suitable for both seed processing and food processing applications.
Central brush adjustment as standard
Our brushing machines are equipped with central brush adjustment as standard. This simplifies machine setting and supports consistent processing quality.
Fast cleaning and maintenance
The machines are designed for easy access and efficient cleaning. On the RBM 800, quick-release clamps on the mantle allow particularly fast cleaning and maintenance within a few minutes. This reduces downtime and facilitates product changes, especially where residue reduction and plant hygiene are important.
Organic version for reduction of common bunt
Both machines can be supplied in organic version to reduce common bunt. In this process, adhering spores, for example common bunt spores on wheat, are mechanically brushed off the kernel surface and removed from the product stream via adapted aspiration.
This can be a major advantage in organic seed processing, where affected batches may under certain conditions be further processed and preserved. Depending on the product and machine setting, practical reduction rates of up to 99% can be achieved.
RBM 400 and RBM 800
Our brushing machines are available in two sizes. The RBM 400 can be operated as a stand-alone machine or integrated into a production line with a small to medium hourly capacity. The larger RBM 800 is designed for higher hourly capacities. Thanks to their modular design, they can be set up individually or combinated.
