Reliable separation of heavy foreign material
Separation is based on specific weight. This allows particles to be removed that are similar in size or shape to the main product, but have a significantly higher density.
The product is evenly fed onto the inclined sorting deck. Through the combination of vibration and air flow, the material is fluidized. Lighter particles are lifted by the air stream, while heavier particles such as stones or metal parts sink down and remain in contact with the rough deck surface.
The heavy particles move towards the stone outlet due to the vibration, while the clean product is discharged separately.
Destoners are therefore an important process step for quality assurance, protection of downstream equipment and improved product safety.
Vacuum Destoners
The S versions operate with suction air and are suitable for standard applications in seed, grain, coffee and agricultural processes.
The machines feature an enclosed, dust-tight hood with large inspection windows for visual control. The separating deck is suspended and equipped with a special wire mesh covering. The deck inclination can be adjusted according to product and separation task.
Data:
- TS 90-S: motor 0,37 kW, capacity 5 t/h in wheat
- TS 180-S: motor 0,55 kW, capacity 10 t/h in wheat
- TS 360-S: motor 1,1 kW, capacity 20 t/h in wheat
Pressurized Destoners
The TS 200 and TS 400 models operate with integrated fans.
The deck is fluidised by a completely uniform pressurised air that lifts the light material, while the heavy material sinks towards the bottom and comes into contact with the deck surface. This version allows precise adjustment and is particularly suitable for higher capacities and demanding industrial applications.
Data:
- TS 200: drives 8,6 kW, capacity 15 t/h in wheat
- TS 400: drives 16,1 kW, capacity 10 t/h in wheat
